The Dropline by SALEWA is a men’s agile hiking shoe built for shock absorbency, stability and support on longer speed hiking tours in alpine terrain.
SALEWA has designed the Dropline for mountain enthusiasts who want to move longer, quicker and more comfortably in alpine terrain. It has a lightweight air mesh construction and a high-performance EVA midsole that provides lightweight cushioning and comfort, giving you softer landing comfort and minimizing impact force on joints and muscles. The newly developed sole pack with an S-Path design promotes a more natural, smoother roll-off during rapid, dynamic movement, as well as superb stability.
The rounded Pomoca outsole performs well with positive traction in all types of terrain. The supportive 3F system, protective wrapping EXA Shell and anti-rock heel cup of the Dropline by SALEWA lock your foot in place and ensure torsional stability. Inside, there is a breathable Ortholite® footbed with superior cushioning and wicking moisture management to keep your feet cooler and drier.

- Pomoca® S Path: Pomoca® Gliding Path facilitates the natural S-shaped roll-through of the foot. A special S-shaped tread pattern – the “Gliding Path” – ensures a seamless roll-through and reduces deformation energy. A traction zone alongside the Gliding Path offers good footing on varying terrain.
